Judy Ramjeet LL.B. {Hons.} is a Partner and was admitted to the Rolls as a solicitor in July 1994.  She has an Honours degree in Laws and has extensive experience in criminal defence cases in police stations, Magistrates' Courts, Youth Courts, Crown Courts.

Judy is responsible for the Prison Law Department of Julian Young & Co. and has dealt with numerous prison law issues.  Judy also hold holds Higher Rights of Audience in Criminal Proceedings and is a qualified and experienced duty solicitor dealing with police station, Magistrates' Court and Youth Court cases. 

Judy is a member of the Legal Services Commission Costs Committee for London and is a former Junior Vice-President of the West London Law Society as well as a current committee member.  In addition, she is a member of the LCCSA, West London Law Society and the National Law Society. 

Judy Ramjeet was the solicitor who initially saw Sean Hodgson at HMP Hodgson and commenced the preparation of his appeal against conviction – instructing Julian Young to represent the client before the Lord Chief Justice in the Court of Appeal.  She has prepared numerous complex cases from police station to Crown Court.
